Message From The Owner of Medford's Best
I noticed many of my customers had a need for removal of piles of limbs and yard waste. When I decided to expand my business into a full time and year-round venture; I decided to serve these customers and others by adding trash and yard debris removal. Sometimes these piles can be loaded while the fire-watch is happening at the end of the day saving labor cost for the customer and increasing my income for the day. Unfortunately after spending tens of thousands of borrowed dollars to make this happen, I received a call informing me that corrupt politicians in concert with evil corporations and lawyers made this illegal in Jackson and Josephine Counties. If my understanding of the law this corporate enforcer pointed out is correct, it's even illegal for sports teams to collect cans or good Samaritans to collect trash from the side of the road without being part of the adopt a road program! For this reason, I am trying desperately to figure out a way to pivot ASAP to something else that can make staying in business possible. If not, and if I sell everything I own including my personal vehicle and the old fifth wheel I live in, I will still be thousands of dollars in debt because I spent thousands on things like advertising which have no refund policies. I apologize if you received a flier in the mail and were hoping to receive this service. Thank you for your patience as I try to figure this out!

The fire-watch will be charged at our current hourly rate. Free fire-watch after 8+ consecutive hours during IFPL I. Free fire-watch after 6+ consecutive hours during IFPL II. Quoted or estimated jobs (vs. hourly jobs) include any required fire-watch in the quote or estimate. Any discount or free fire watch resets at the end of each workday.
Example: If the discount or free fire watch service is applied after six consecutive hours. You have seven hours of work done on day one and five hours done on day two. You would then get the discount or free fire watch service on day one but not on day two.
Discounts and/or free fire-watches may NOT be combined with any other offer unless the offer specifically lists an exception to that rule.
The service minimum for work outside Jackson and Josephine Counties is $1,200. Drive time will charged at $60 per hour on every job outside Jackson and Josephine Counties. Customer will also be required to reserve and pay for a motel room.
Our primary service area now extends from Ashland to Grants Pass and still includes Medford and Central Point, Oregon. Drive time may be charged on jobs outside the primary service area.
